I love the classic Pokemon games.

The classic gameboy Pokemon games sure are a treat! I love how uhhhh, unpolished they are. Well by unpolished I mostly mean gen 1 as gen 2 are quite polished in comparision. That doesn't really change how I love these games! Mostly due to the fact that they can be very, very, very broken.
In My most recent play through I used Mew, how you may ask? Well I used the trainer fly glitch! Which you might know if you pay attention to the online pokemon scene at all, but anyway with this glitch you can use it to get any pokemon in the game, including Mew! I fittingly named it "GOD" and used it for the playthrough.
Another glitch from the gen 1 games that I love to abuse is the leach seed toxic glitch, basically how it goes is that you use leach seed on the target Pokemon, and then you use toxic on it! but due to gen 1 being, well gen 1, the leach seed damage (and healing) contributes to toxics damage, so everytime the leach seed deals damage toxic's damage increases, and vice versa! This all leads to a busted combo with a bulky pokemon, such as Venasaur, which was My starter in My playthrough.
I haven't really played through the gen 2 games all that much, Johto is my least favourite region (outside of Sinnoh) so I haven't really bothered to play any Johto games, I own a copy of Pokemon Silver but I'm only up to Whitney on that (wish me luck haha), don't take me disliking Johto as me hating it as I can enjoy basically any Pokemon game, but Johto is just, eh, bad balencing and really strange decisions kinda ruin it for me I guess. I've gotta give Johto some credit as it has my second favorite Pokemon Scizor!. (also the gen 2 art style is really good, i LOVE it!)
so thats just about it on My rants about pokemon for today,I hope you enjoyed reading it!
